The Air Jordan 3 marked the debut of Brand Jordan's visible Air cushioning, elephant print, and the Jumpman logo. Falling in line with the 2003 retros, this 2011 iteration features a Jumpman logo in place of the 1988 OG Nike Air branding at the heel and tongue. Nike Air branding wouldn't return to the Air Jordan 3 until 2013 with a release appropriately named 'Air Jordan 3 Retro '88.'
